Living sector investment specialist Gatehouse Living Group has strengthened its team with the appointment of James Sarmecanic as Group Finance Director.
James brings more than 25 years’ experience of corporate finance in the real estate sector, most recently as the co-founder and chief financial officer of RCVP Retirement Living, a senior living developer that was successfully sold in 2023. Prior to this he set up a financial advisory business where he provided real estate financing consultancy services to corporate clients. James began his career at Operis, the financial advisory and training specialist, before running the Financial Planning & Analysis team at Mapeley, with his achievements in the role including the financial model underpinning the company’s IPO in 2005.
In his new role, James will be overseeing the finances of Gatehouse Living Group, with his expertise supporting the group as it works to both grow its existing platforms and secure new mandates within the living sector.
